DIGITAL MOUNTAIN ANNOUNCES HTCIA 2019 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE PRESENTATION ON DIGITAL EVIDENCE FROM SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES & SMARTPHONE APPS

SANTA CLARA, CA (August 12, 2019) - Digital Mountain, Inc., a leading national provider of Universal Discovery Management solutions including electronic discovery, computer forensics, cybersecurity, and a next-generation Web-based platform, FileQuest®, announced today that President and CEO, Julie Lewis, and Project Manager, Cynthia Navarro will co-present on Social Networking Sites & Smartphone Apps at this year’s HTCIA 2019 International Conference and Expo, taking place September 22-25, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois.

HTCIA – Bringing Leaders Together
For over thirty years, the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) has provided education and fostered collaboration of their global members for the prevention and investigation of high-tech crimes. HTCIA is committed to advancing “professional organizations devoted to the prevention, investigation and prosecution of crimes involving advanced technologies.” Each year, HTCIA brings the industry together to share, learn, and encourage innovation at its annual conference and exposition. For 2019, Chicago, Illinois will host the HTCIA conference at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare, September 22-25, 2019. About the Speakers


Julie Lewis, President, CEO and Founder of Digital Mountain, has over 20 years of experience working in the high technology industry and has been a long-time user of social media. One of the key focus areas of her company is on social media investigations, preservations and monitoring. Prior to founding Digital Mountain, Julie worked at VERITAS Software with next-generation storage, security and search companies. Before joining VERITAS, Julie worked in the venture capital and investment banking focusing on the Internet Infrastructure, security and software sectors. She is a member of the High Tech Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), American Bar Association, Sedona Conference's Working Groups on E-mail Management and Archiving (WG1) and Data Security and Privacy Liability (WG11), Cloud Security Alliance and has received her EnCE (Encase Certification in Computer Forensics). Julie is founding Co-Chair of the Silicon Valley Chapter of Women in eDiscovery.


Cynthia Navarro, Project Manager of Digital Mountain, specializes in Computer Forensics and Social Media Investigations. Prior to joining Digital Mountain, she worked over the last 30 years for various Silicon Valley companies including Palm-HP, Adobe Systems, One-Red LLC as well has her own company. Cynthia has provided services for open source, IP licensing, fraud, business intelligence, project management, and brand protection investigations. She also provides training for law enforcement and corporate investigators. She has served as an officer numerous times with the High Technology Crime Investigation Association and is an active participant in the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Women in eDiscovery and Women in Security.
