Digital Mountain, Inc. complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of PII from European Union member countries. Digital Mountain, Inc. has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability. Digital Mountain, Inc. is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and commits to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and comply with the advice given by such authorities with regard to human resources data transferred from the EU in the context of the employment relationship. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. In the context of an onward transfer, the Company has responsibility for the processing of personal information it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. The Company shall remain liable under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

We also may be required to disclose an individualís personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

How to Correct or Review Your Personal Information

Upon request, we will provide an individual with access to their PII provided that they have given proof of identity. Requests for PII are handled by sending us an e-mail or writing to us using the information above. If any inaccuracies need to be corrected, please send us the corrections in an e-mail or by writing to us.

How We May Update our Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may use PII for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
