Joseph Catalano, Senior Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel for Union Bank of California
Joseph manages delivery of all litigation related services to the national bank with more than 11,000 employees, 350 branches and $55 billion in assets. Previously, he was General Counsel of Bay View Capital Corporation [NYSE:BVC]. He is the Chair of the Litigation Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel and is the immediate past president of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. He is also a member of the Financial Institutions Committee of the State Bar. He spoke at the National Conference of the Association of Corporate Counsel in 2003 and 2004 on the topics, How to Avoid Common Traps and Pitfalls in Insurance Coverage and Claims, and End It Before it Begins, Litigation Avoidance Techniques in Today’s Business Environment. Mr. Catalano received his Bachelor’s Degree, and his JD Degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in California.
Anthony De Cicco, Senior Vice President for Calypso
Anthony leads the Professional Services organization and is responsible for consulting operations worldwide. Mr. De Cicco was previously at VERITAS Software, Inc. where he held positions of Senior Vice President of Professional Services and Vice President of Systems Engineering. Under Mr. De Cicco’s leadership, the global professional services organization grew from revenues of approximately $12M to $100M in four years, and the number of personnel in the organization grew from approximately 30 to over 300 worldwide. Prior to VERITAS Software Inc., Mr. De Cicco was Vice President for Informix Software, Inc. where he ran the Professional Services, Systems Engineering, and Tool Development organizations. Mr. De Cicco holds a BS degree from Montclaire State University.
Troy Larson, Senior Forensic Investigator of Microsoft Corporation
Troy is an attorney who has been working in the field of digital forensics and litigation support since 1997. He also practiced law for over eight years as a civil litigator handling a variety of commercial disputes. Troy is a frequent speaker and presenter to attorneys and information security groups around the country on issues relating to electronic evidence and forensic computing. He is the author of the recently released book Forensics. Troy earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.
